The Connecticut Invasive Plant Working Group (CIPWG) presented “Getting Real About Invasive Plants: Prioritize, Strategize, Mobilize” on Thursday, October 25, 2012. This conference addressed the development of practical solutions and methods for invasive plant management and detail the actions needed to promote native species, improve natural areas, and benefit wildlife. The Keynote Speaker was Elizabeth Farnsworth of the New England Wildlflower Society who presented “Twenty-first Century Tools for Tackling Invasive Plants: Identify, Prioritize, Mobilize!”
