The Connecticut Invasive Plant Working Group (CIPWG) presented “Cherish Our Natural Heritage: Managing Invasives to Promote Native Diversity”, on Wednesday October 1, 2008. The Keynote Speaker was Doug Tallamy, Professor and Chair of the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology from the University of Delaware. Doug recently published Bringing Nature Home; How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in Our Gardens.
