McAvoy called the meeting to order at 2:08pm.
Approval of Meeting Minutes
The meeting minutes from November 10 were distributed and reviewed. Larson moved (second: Hyatt) to approve as distributed. Motion Carried.
Legislative update – D. Sutherland reported that previously allocated IPC funding was cut out of the DEEP budget as part of the recent Governor mandated rescissions. It was uncertain if the AIS Grant program was affected or if the IPC position was eliminated in the cuts.
The committee discussed options to appeal for IPC Coordinator support. D Sutherland agreed to look into a public hearing with the environment committee. It was noted that the Lake Associate may be most influential in moving this agenda. Other options included a private meeting with the environment committee chairs and a general CIPWG call to action.
Annual Report: The draft cover letter was reviewed and the final draft approved. It was noted that the list of IPC accomplishments would not be compiled as in the past since no coordinator support was available.
Meeting schedule for 2016 were set as follows: Feb 9th (tentative), Mar 8th, July 12th, Sept 13th, Nov 15th
